Virtual Spirit Day!
La Farge High School students were well represented at the annual Ron Kind art competition with 10 entries. Grace Widner took 3rd place which means her art will be on display in one of Kind's offices in the state. Our art students worked incredibly hard on these original pieces of art. The other students who competed were, Colene Grefe, Maddy Benson, Abby Schreck, Nolan Reese, Natalie Nordmann, McKinsey Biermann, Annmarie Morrison, Thomas Wallace & Macey Wood. So proud of this collaboration with Mrs. Benson. I have been doing this Sesame Street Genetics project for a few years, but she took the family portrait to the next level. The 7th graders did a great job making their Sesame Street families come to life. #everystudenteveryday #geneticsproject #sesamestreetfamily

La Farge Schools Community: We pledge to be in consistent contact with you as we work through the official orders and what that means for our Wildcat Nation. This afternoon, Governor Evers indicated that the mandatory school closures would be "indefinite," meaning that until we hear otherwise, our La Farge Schools campus is closed as of 5pm on Wednesday, March 18. LFS' staff are continuing to work for students throughout the closure! Starting tomorrow, we are offering comprehensive services to 4K - 12 students through a variety of online, phone-based, and individualized platforms. Please reach out as needed to your student's teachers, specialists, and Principals. Education is defined as a critical service by FEMA, and La Farge Schools will be here for students and families through the pandemic and beyond. Keep in touch, and take care of yourselves and your families. We'll get through this! At this time, no events past April 6 have been cancelled. LFS is committed to doing everything we can do to restore normalcy as soon as possible.
