The La Farge Summer Rec. parent meeting has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 30th, at 6 pm in the school cafeteria. Information and sign-up packets will be sent home with students today. Feel free to fill those out and bring them to the meeting.

Good Afternoon! Grades K-8 will participate in the annual La Farge 5K Run/Walk next Friday, May 2nd on the KVR. We will begin around 1:30 at Bridge 14 and end below the dam. Please feel free to join your child for a relaxing afternoon. Please send students that day with athletic shoes and a water bottle. Contact Mr. Slack with questions.

Registration Deadline to guarantee a shirt for the NHS Fire and EMS 5K is next Wednesday, April 30th. Registration forms can be found on the school website, at the bank, and Village Office.

The National Honor Society Talent Show is CANCELLED for Friday night due to scheduling conflicts.
The La Farge Summer Rec. sign-up and parent meeting will be held on Monday, April 28th, at 7 pm in the La Farge School Cafeteria. Informational packets will also be sent home from school prior to this meeting. At the meeting, families will have the opportunity to hear more information about summer baseball and softball programs, fill out registration forms, pay fees, and purchase some clothing. Middle school students have been busy woodworking creating beautiful keepsakes!
Spanish 2 students took a day to learn about the Guatemalan Easter tradition of designing "alfombras" (carpets) on the streets for Holy Week processions and parades. These intricate designs are made with colorful sawdust, sand, and flowers. Students then had the opportunity to design their own colorful alfombras.
