Another great achievement by our students!
Congratulations to Hallie Nemec and Theo Parr for their FCCLA STAR event presentation at the State Leadership Conference in Wisconsin Dells April 7th-9th. The pair recieved a gold medal and they have qualified to attend the National Leadership Conference in Orlando, FL this summer!

This weekend many of our middle and high school students participated in Solo & Ensemble and received great scores!
Student events advancing to State Solo and Ensemble are: Theo Parr, bass clarinet solo, Chelsey Huebsch, flute solo, Daisy Nemec, baritone solo and Macie Fowell--clarinet solo, alto solo and musical theatre solo.
Students receiving a 1st rating were: Kinley Morris, soprano solo; Ryley Benson, alto sax solo; Chloe Schlicht, flute solo; Alicia Wirts, alto sax solo; Kinley Morris and Chloe Schlicht, vocal duet; Addie Hansen, soprano solo; Levi Palmer, trombone solo; Babs Huffman, marimba solo; Brielle Hansen, marimba solo; Kaelyn Schlicht and Ryley Benson, clarinet and alto sax duet.
Students receiving a 2nd rating were: Chloe Schlicht, alto solo and Faith Nemec, clarinet solo; Brielle Hansen, Addie Hansen, Tatum Fortun and Macie Fowell--barbershop quartet.

Our forensics team had a HUGE boost in participation this year, but not only that, they had a HUGE rate of success! We had 28 of our students make it on from sub-districts to districts and 27 of our students make it to STATE with 23 entries, and many doubling up! #itsagreatdaytobeawildcat #wildcatnation

The La Farge National Honor Society's next blood drive is Tuesday, April 15th from 12:30 pm to 5:30 pm at the La Farge High School Gym. There are still donations times available if you would like to donate and walk-ins are welcome. You can register for a donation slot at https://www.redcrossblood.org/ or call (608) 625-0145 . Every donation helps earn Red Cross Scholarships for our 2025 NHS Seniors. Thank you for the continued support!
At approximately 9:40 am this morning, La Farge Schools received an anonymous tip through Speak Up Speak Out about a possible threat. The school was put on a soft lockdown while Chief Palmer from the La Farge Police Department and the Vernon County Sheriff's Department quickly determined that there was no threat to La Farge students. The students were on lockdown for approximately 5 minutes.
La Farge National Honor Society is hosting a talent show and looking for people that would like to perform. Registration is open until Friday, April 4th. Contact information is on the image.

Recently our 4th and 5th graders traveled to compete in Battle of the Books. It was a great learning experience for them, and they're already looking forward to next year!
